For the first time ever, “The Poly Rythmo Orchestra of Benin” is on tour out of Africa. And I love it.
For the first time ever, I’ll attend a gig with my mother! AND THAT’S AN EVENT ON ITS OWN!

“Benin’s finest, Orchestre Poly Rythmo, have announced their first ever European tour. The cream of the band’s output can be heard on Soundway’s CD/LP compilation The Kings of Benin Urban Groove 1972-80. Masters of afrobeat and original voodoo funk, Orchestre Poly Rhythmo have conquered Nigeria, Togo, Niger, Angola and much of West Africa since their formation 43 years ago. Never before have they had the chance to take their music out of Africa until now…”

Pour la toute première fois, l’Orchestre Poly Rythmo du Benin passe les frontières africaines pour une tournée europénne et je suis à fond!
Pour la toute première fois, je vais aller voir un concert avec ma mère! Et ça c’est un évènement en soi!
