Sao Paulo “Cidade Limpa” by CIA de Foto

CIA timeSince January, 1st  2007, Sao Paulo became a city without any advertising on its walls, bus stops or panels. A world premiere for this southern  “Nova York” which is already crowded with people (almost 20 millions inhabitants) and cars (yes, you have to know that cars are KINGS up in here. Yeah, yeah, the zebra crossing are kinda  part of the landscape and pedestrians have no rights in the streets!

So here is the work of CIA de Foto (a paulistana collective and photography agency) in SP, the no-ad-city.

More info about “Lei Cidade Limpa” (=law of the clean city) here, still on Time Magazine.
