“Do The Right Thing”, a Spike Lee Joint fête ses 20 ans en juin prochain et réédite le DVD en version anniversary. On dit merci parce qu’il faut vraiment qu’une “certaine” nouvelle génération voit ce film avant de ne jurer que par Kanye West et sa Air Yeezy (quelqu’un aurait-il remarquer que je n’étais pas fan de Kanye? 
).

Collectif from Brooklyn (oui oui, encore Brooklyn, j’y peux rien), Faile réunit Patrick McNeil from Canada, Aiko Nakagawa from Japan et Patrick Miller from the US. Ils sont le trio qui s’inspire de la dégradation de l’environnement urbain. Par dégradation j’entend salissures, vieux posters décollés déchirés et non pas érosion. De cette base, Faile y incorpore, des collages, du pochoir ou de la peinture pour un rendu assez proche du comics je dois dire.
Pour ce dernier projet, on en revient à cette idée de posters déchirés, je vous laisse apprécier avec les 2 seules pics que j’ai pu trouver. Merci “UK Street Art”

Younity, c’est Un collectif de 60 femmes artistes venant de la photo, du graff, de la peinture mais surtout du paysage urbain qui se réunit autour d’une idée, promouvoir l’imagerie féminine et donner du power à leur travail parce qu’il paraît que l’union fait la force.
Encore une fois ca se passe à Brooklyn et encore une fois, je regrette d’avoir un jour de septembre attéri à Paris Shitty. I’m just missing all the interestig things. Damn it!
On a plus qu’à attendre le livre patiemment et les photos de l’expo dans le prochain Juxtapoz.
